Hi Nina,
I was a beginner in the Mountainview workshop you were just at. I must say your performance was stunning I did not know a dulcimer could sound like that. Thankyou for sharing your love of the Dulcimer with the Folk Center last week. Maybe you will be back when I am in a advanced class I do have a L O N G way to go. Good luck

Thanks for your beautiful music. Thanks to you and a few other great mountain dulcimer musicians, the mountain dulcimer music has now—by far—become my choice in music. In this new and stressful world, I have found a haven of restful and soothing peace that only music like yours can convey.
Thanks again for your beautiful music. I look forward to any upcoming CDs.

Nina,
I discovered you while looking at the National Mountain Dulcimer Championship archives. Congratulations on your accomplishments to date. In 2008 my son Daniel Haley was one round away from competing with you in the championship. He came just shy of winning first place in the Mid-East Regional at Roscoe Village in Ohio. We are a family of 10 who have an appreciation for music and creativity. As a result, I was inspired to design our very own dulcimer. The result, the HX Molded-back Mountain Dulcimer. I build them and my children play them! Perhaps someday we can get one in your hands to play. We'd love your feedback and a chance to hear you make some sweet sounds on our HX Dulcimers!
Blessings,
The Haley's

How fun to see all your pictures! I've always loved the sound of the dulcimer. I even have one that was made by someone's brother that is impossible to tune, so I never could even start learning to play it! Let me know if you come to Saint Louis, or anywhere near!

Congrats on the website. It is very pleasing-sight and sound;and easy to navigate. I have been working in the Softer Side, and now have received the Tunes for Two and love the arrangements in volumes 1 and 2. Your wonderful arrangments and playing keep me motivated but are not so overly difficult that I become discouraged. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Nina,
Congratulations on your wonderful accomplishments with the Dulcimer! You were always a rare person indeed-- combining the mind of a scientist with the heart of an artist. Every good grace to you. An old acquaintance, hopefully not completely forgotten--

Love your music. Love the way you play. Love the soft side of the dulcimer. My new dulcimer loves your music too, but she's just a beginner. I strung her up today. She doesn't know she is a dulcimer yet, but she learning: from the way you play.
